Bacon and cancer

Bacon tied to greater bladder cancer risk Reuters/YahooNews 11/27/06 "people who ate bacon five times a week or more were nearly 60-percent more likely to develop bladder cancer, while those who ate skinless chicken this frequently had a 52-percent greater risk of the disease...Some meat products contain nitrosamines, which are known to cause bladder cancer... researchers suggest that nitrosamines, heterocyclic amines, or both are responsible..."

It seems like one of the lessons here is don't expose meat to super high temperatures. So bake rather than fry and leave the skin on. Oh and don't eat the piggies in any form... pigs are people too. Well close enough so that we shouldn't be munching on them.
